BUILD YOUR SELF ESTEEM, A STARTER GUIDE TO SELF IMPROVEMENT

So how do you stay calm, composed and maintain self esteem in a tough environment? Here are some tips you may to consider as a starter guide to self improvement.

Imagine yourself as a Dart Board. Everything and everyone else around you may become Dart Pins, at one point or another. These dart pins will destroy your self esteem and pull you down in ways you won’t even remember. Don’t let them destroy you, or get the best of you. So which dart pins should you avoid?

Dart Pin #1 : Negative Work Environment

Beware of “dog eat dog” theory where everyone else is fighting just to get ahead. This is where non-appreciative people usually thrive. No one will appreciate your contributions even if you miss lunch and dinner, and stay up late. Most of the time you get to work too much without getting help from people concerned. Stay out of this, it will ruin your self esteem. Competition is at stake anywhere. Be healthy enough to compete, but in a healthy competition that is.

Dart Pin #2: Other People’s Behavior

Bulldozers, brown nosers, gossipmongers, whiners, backstabbers, snipers, people walking wounded, controllers, naggers, complainers, exploders, patronizers, sluffers… all these kinds of people will pose bad vibes for your self esteem, as well as to your self improvement scheme.

Dart Pin #3: Changing Environment

You can’t be a green bug on a brown field. Changes challenge our paradigms. It tests our flexibility, adaptability and alters the way we think. Changes will make life difficult for awhile, it may cause stress but it will help us find ways to improve our selves. Change will be there forever, we must be susceptible to it.

Dart Pin #4: Past Experience

It’s okay to cry and say “ouch!” when we experience pain. But don’t let pain transform itself into fear. It might grab you by the tail and swing you around. Treat each failure and mistake as a lesson.

Dart Pin #5: Negative World View

Look at what you’re looking at. Don’t wrap yourself up with all the negativities of the world. In building self esteem, we must learn how to make the best out of worst situations.

Dart Pin #6: Determination Theory

The way you are and your behavioral traits is said to be a mixed end product of your inherited traits (genetics), your upbringing (psychic), and your environmental surroundings such as your spouse, the company, the economy or your circle of friends. You have your own identity. If your father is a failure, it doesn’t mean you have to be a failure too. Learn from other people’s experience, so you’ll never have to encounter the same mistakes.

Sometimes, you may want to wonder if some people are born leaders or positive thinkers. NO. Being positive, and staying positive is a choice. Building self esteem and drawing lines for self improvement is a choice, not a rule or a talent. God wouldn’t come down from heaven and tell you – “George, you may now have the permission to build self esteem and improve your self.”

In life, its hard to stay tough specially when things and people around you keep pulling you down. When we get to the battle field, we should choose the right luggage to bring and armors to use, and pick those that are bullet proof. Life’s options give us arrays of more options. Along the battle, we will get hit and bruised. And wearing a bullet proof armor ideally means ‘self change’. The kind of change which comes from within. Voluntarily. Armor or Self Change changes 3 things: our attitude, our behavior and our way of thinking.

Building self esteem will eventually lead to self improvement if we start to become responsible for who we are, what we have and what we do. Its like a flame that should gradually spread like a brush fire from inside and out. When we develop self esteem, we take control of our mission, values and discipline. Self esteem brings about self improvement, true assessment, and determination. So how do you start putting up the building blocks of self esteem? Be positive. Be contented and happy. Be appreciative. Never miss an opportunity to compliment. A positive way of living will help you build self esteem, your starter guide to self improvement.

Beginners Guide to Putting

As you can imagine, one of the most important things that you can do to improve your golf game is improve your putting skills. While it may seem impossible, simply practicing and working to improve a few minor things will greatly improve your skills. Once you have learned what you need to do, practice the skills until you have them mastered. Remember, a good putting skill will ultimately translate into a much improved long shot as well so taking the time to practice your putting is very important.

You are of course going to need to practice to improve, but the exact skills that you need to practice tend to vary from player to player. As a general rule of thumb, there are three things that you need to specifically focus on in order to get the best golf game possible. The first skill is ensuring that your swing is proper so that you will contact the ball exactly in the middle of the club head. If you are not dead on the center you will never be able to master putting. You simply cannot hit the ball from the side of the club head and expect it to go straight. No matter how long you practice, this is not possible and will result in plenty of frustration over what you are doing wrong.

Once you have worked to improve hitting the ball from the very center of the club head you need to move onto tonsuring that you always hit the ball in a straight line to the target. This means if the ball needs to go 2 feet away from you towards the lake, you would not want to aim the ball towards the tree beside it. You may think this sounds a bit strange, but many people do not squarely approach the ball to the target. They then stand around and wonder why they are missing their shot. Even if you are off by just a fraction, this can seriously alter your putting skills because the ball is not going to go where you want it to go.

You will likely need to practice this point a lot, most people do not realize when they are just slightly off center from the target. Yet even the slightest difference away from the target will result in a missed shot and an increased handicap. Work on this by ensuring that you take plenty of time to practice. This is even a skill that you could practice in your office, or bedroom at home using a small home putting kit. However, going to the driving range is not going to help you here so avoid them if possible while you are working on this skill.

Your last skill that you need to work on to improve your putting skills is working to ensure that you are accelerating the club head when you are actually coming into contact with the ball. Many players make the mistake of slowing the club down right before they actually hit the ball. This will cause you to lose the momentum that you need in order for the ball to make it to your target. Working to make a conscious effort not to slow the club down will usually be sufficient in order to improve this skill and give you some improved results.

Pirates Ahoy Facebook guide cheats tips tricks strategies hacks codes how to

Pirates Ahoy is a very new Facebook game, and it has become one of the top Facebook games in a pretty short time. It's a Pirate game that's a little bit more light of heart than your typical Facebook adventure or sim-build game, such as Mafia Wars. There's quite a few cheats out for Pirates Ahoy, but most of them involve some kind of downloading this or editing that, and could potentially get weeded out by the company that produces the game, as soon as they catch wind of it. But my collection of tips and tricks can be done inside the game, without editing files, they are simple, and they will help you win. Enjoy, and use these tips to the best of your advantage to become the best!Unfortunately, cheats for Pirates Ahoy, aside from downloadable cheats, are few and far between. There are quite a few downloadable cheats for unlimited energy, coins, exp, etc. Aside from that though, there are a few great tips, tricks and strategies that you can do to make it much easier to beat Pirates Ahoy.

If you want to hire officers but you can't find any with the skills you need, hire ones that you don't need and then fire them. This will open up more officer choices to you so that you can possibly find officers that do have the skills that you need.

After you capture a new ship, always go to the ship management menu and pay off your new crew. This is a quick and easy way to build loyalty among your new crew.

Be sure to visit every day, even on days that you don't really play, for more chances at the Daily Lucky Dip. You can earn far more rewards this way for doing a lot less work.

Fight lots of monsters early on in the game, because this is when you will win most often. Later in the game, it becomes tougher and more arduous to fight monsters. But early on, they are a great source of earning more food, which helps you refill your energy level.Don't accept a quest without a full energy bar, because your chances of not finishing the mission will increase if you accept with less-than-full energy.

Get an easy Man o' War by capturing a colony, then manning the ship and waiting for an attack on your colony. Stay close but don't enter the battle until daytime. There won't always be an MoW but try this a few times (save the game just before you go into battle, and keep reloading from that save point if necessary). Sometimes you will even have TWO MoWs invading your colony.

Wait until your cannons severely weaken the attackers, then board the ship. You need sufficient crew to man one of these beasts, but this is as easy a way as any to get a Man o' War.

Also, the most important thing to your ship and your crew is SPEED. Go for speed above all else - try to upgrade to the fastest ship possible for the purposes you need, and don't plate your ship unless you absolutely have to. Upgrade to the fastest sails possible. And use only one type of ammo, to not only open up more space for booty, but to lighten the load and thus increase speed.

For a cheap and easy way to raise morale, go to a tavern and go to the crew hire menu. Look at the average morale. If it's higher than the average morale, fire only a portion of your crew and then rehire from the pool and your morale level will go up.

For a high-range weapon that lets you strike from afar, use culverins. Hit without being hit.

I hope these help! Got anymore hints? Post them!

Simply Hospital Facebook Game Guide Tips tricks strategies cheats

Simply Hospital is a brand new Facebook hospital simulator by 6Waves, creator of the addicting short game Toilet Paper Roll on Facebook. This is a much longer, in depth game than that, though, taking cue from the many business simulators, theme park simulators and other such games on Facebook, while adding its own unique twists and strategies. The goal is to build your experience points by diagnosing and curing patients, build more rooms and hire more doctors in your hospital, earn a bunch of money, expand your hospital, build even more hospitals, and start a hospital empire. If you want to expedite your leveling up and your money gain, read on to find out how to do it...If, after you finish a shift, you notice that people aren't being diagnosed or cured at all, for a certain disease, and you want to find out what rooms are necessary to diagnose and cure them, go to the "research" area, and hold the mouse arrow over the little icons next to where it says "Diagnosed in:" and "Cured in:". This is the only way to figure out which rooms are necessary to diagnose and/or cure certain diseases, so use this as a guide to know what rooms you need to build in your hospital, and what rooms are unnecessary.

The game claims that you earn more money in less time by having shorter shifts at a time, but this simply is not true. You will earn the same amount of money per minute, no matter what shifts you run, so always run the longest shift available, to earn the most overall money even when you aren't playing. Best of all, you can always end a shift early, and still keep all of the profit you make.

To increase your reputation (and your profit), build more and more benches and vending machines. This will keep patients waiting around longer, so each doctor will be able to diagnose more patients, you make more money for less money spent, and patients stay happier as well, and are less likely to leave the hospital on account of being sick of waiting around.Keep an eye on your clinical rooms. Mouse over a clinical room to find out how many repairs are needed in the room and how many uses are left, and if it's running out of available repairs, click the room and click "reinstall equipment". This costs only 500 coins and prevents your room from becoming unusable while you're away from the computer. And ALWAYS make sure to hire a maintenance man, so that repairs can be made to the clinical rooms while you are away from the computer.

When you get to around level 7-8 and you are on cruise control, simply using 6 hour shifts to make money while you're away from the keyboard, and all of your room slots are full, resist the temptation to spend unnecessary money on too many decorations, or any other useless items. Instead, diligently save your money so that you can either build a second hospital, or expand your current hospital. Expanding your hospital costs 100,000 coins and building a new one costs 200,000 coins.

No matter what you are doing, you can always do more research, so always have at least one disease research project going at a time. That way, when it finishes, you will be curing and diagnosing more patients, and thus making more money even while you're away from the game.

That's about it for now. Do you have more tips? Post them in comments!

Farmville 2 General Guide

Farmville 2 is Zynga's latest craze. Similar to the original Farmville, your goal is to build the best and most beautiful farm the world has ever seen.

The game has several sections that I will be focusing on. I am breaking down the guide to several sections:

General Information

Tips and Tricks

Crops and Crafting Kitchen

Farmville FriendsGeneral Gameplay

The game is rather simple. If you are a beginner at Zynga games, just follow the tutorial at the start of the game.Coins

This is the main currency of the game. You get coins when you complete quests and also selling the items that you grew or made. It is also used to purchase expansion lands.

Cash

Every free to play game from Zynga has this. It is like the fast access to everything. If you want to finish planting your crop, just use this and it is done. However, it requires real money. The sad part is, you can only get 1 Cash per level up. So far I do not know of any other way that you can earn cash from the game other than leveling up, which makes it quite a hassle for free players.

Experience

This purple bar tells you how much experience you need until you get to the next level.

Feed

This is required to feed your farm animals. You start off with a goat and a chicken, so they get hungry and you will need feed to keep them full. The goat gets hungry every 15 minutes and the chicken is 5 minutes. If you are an active player, be sure to feed it!

Water

This is used for planting crops, trees and making food in the crafting kitchen. Water replenishes every 3 minutes. You can also get extra 10 water from wells every 4 hours.

Fertilizer

This will give you a chance to harvest prized crops, which gives you more gold when sold. You can get them randomly from feeding your animals. It is rare though.

Power

This is used for making food. When you craft recipes or food in your house, you use 1 per recipe/food. It replenishes 1 power every 3 minutes.Farmville 2 Tips and Tricks

Here are some tips for beginners for faster leveling:

1. Add community neighbors and visit their farm, help them with their farm to earn experience and get water.

2. Plant a lot of crops right before you level up. In case you didn't know, when you level up, all your crops and trees are replenished and harvested regardless of harvesting time. So do take advantage of it. Plant the longest harvesting crops such as strawberries and pumpkins. That way, you will earn more experience in the long run.

3. Try and get the Land Expansion 1 and 2 as quickly as possible. It will help you get more gold in the long run. The first expansion gives you the Feed Mill and the second expansion will give you the well. Having these 2 will give you extra water and space to harvest more crops.Planting Crops and Crafting Kitchen

Planting Crops

The majority of the time, you will be figuring out what to harvest to best make use of your time. If you are an active player, plant many fast harvesting crops such as tomatoes and blueberries. The tomatoes take 1 minute and 10 gold and the blueberries take 2 minutes and 15 coins.

If you are a casual and don't have time to play for more than 10 or 15 minutes a day, just harvest pumpkins or strawberries, which takes 8 hours and 1 day respectively. Beware though, if you don't come and harvest them when it is done, it can wither and die. I believe if you don't log on for 3 days or more, they die and hence wasting your coins.

Crafting Kitchen

Over here, you can create recipes or make food to sell for more coins. This is unlocked after 2 land expansions. Depending on what you want to make, it is better if you focus on harvesting the crops required for the recipe. Below are some starter recipes that you can make that can land you some good amount of coins.

This is the most basic combo that you can use:

Flour

2 Wheat + 2 Wheat

Sells for: 90 coins

Batter

1 Flour + 3 Eggs

Sells for: 290 coins

Apple Scone

6 Apples + 1 Batter

Sells for: 640 coins

So you will want to focus on harvesting plenty of apples and wheat to make this recipe. As you progress along later in the game, you can move on the strawberry pie.Farmville Friends

Be sure to visit your friend's farm to get extra water, coins and also helping them with their farm at the same time. That is what makes this game fun!Farmville 2 Guide Conclusion

Hopefully this guide has given you the basic steps to building the best farm you will ever dream of. Keep harvesting and feeding your animals to get to where you want to be!
